I provide advice to SME Boards. All assignments are focused medium to long-term objectives, typically in relation to the delivery of well-defined business outcomes. Outcomes range from growth in market share to delivery of new revenues streams; business planning/implementation to service innovation. Businesses typically engage my services when:
- Transitioning from a sales-led to marketing-led culture
- Embarking on growth Building new management teams
- Seeking innovation in response to market change
Where required, the services of my portfolio companies are utilised to support the delivery the business outcomes. If required, these companies can work on immediate campaigns and projects, without my personal involvement. Thereby providing companies with the choice of short, medium or long-term results.
I am primarily engaged to deliver the following disciplines in support of the target business outcomes:
- Strategic planning (using a model adapted from the Orbit/High Growth Methodology
- Business insight (derived from forensic data analysis techniques)
Business plan tracking and measurement (liaising with board members and senior leadership teams) - Marcoms strategic planning, objective definition and measurement (seeking transformation and innovation rather than business as usual)
- Board representation (usually as the director responsible for marketing performance)
